Oven Skillet Corn Bread Recipe



OVEN SKILLET CORN BREAD
1 cup palmetto farms cornmeal
1/2 cup self rising flour
2 tablespoons sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoons salt
1 egg
1/4 cup oil
1 cup milk
Preheat oven to 375.
Combine ingredients and pour into well greased 9 inch cast iron skillet. Bake approx. 20 minutes or until golden brown. For a crunchier texture preheat well greased skillet in oven as it warms to baking temperature. This recipe can be used for muffins or corn stick. Adjust cooking time.
